Chelsea joined DAA in January 2022 as a Graduate Ecologist after graduating from Hadlow College, University of Greenwich with a First Class Honours in BSc Animal Conservation and Biodiversity and in June 2023 Chelsea was promoted to Ecologist. 

Prior to working at DAA, Chelsea was a volunteer assistant warden with RSPB Wallasea Island Coastal Project and took part in Breeding Bird Surveys, Wetland Bird Surveys, Water Vole Surveys and monitoring the mink rafts on the reserve. Through this role, Chelsea also had an active part in habitat management which included collecting water level and salinity readings, controlling sluices and water control structures and removal of invasive species.

Chelsea is currently working towards Natural England Class Licence for dormice (Level 1) and becoming an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
