DAA Wins Valley Gardens Commission

by | 8th May 2014

Brighton & Hove City Council is undertaking a major re-structuring of the famous Valley Gardens in the centre of the city and overlooked by the Royal Pavilion. We are proud to have been invited to help resolve the tree issues for this major project.

Most of the trees are large English elms for which Brighton and Hove is famous as the home for the national collection of elms. This collection of mature elms is the only place they may be seen in such numbers, so it is vital that the restructuring of the gardens safeguards these vitally important trees.
David Archer Associates will be undertaking a detailed survey of over 300 trees during late summer and will be heavily involved in the design process of this exciting project.
